Griaß di – welcome
A Styrian inn in Murau
Restaurant, hotel and bar under one roof. Run by Marco and Viktoria Leypold, second generation, since 1992. Kitchen until 9 pm, beer from the brewery down the road.
Our kitchen
We know the farms our food comes from
100 % local, 100 % traceable. When something runs out, it runs out. We don't buy anything else.
For almost every ingredient we can name the farm. The beef from the Salchenegger family in Perchau. The fish from the fish farm here in Murau. The bread from Binggl in Tamsweg, the beer from the town's own brewery, brewing since 1495. The full list is on the menu.
- Austrian classics: Wiener Schnitzel, fried chicken, goulash, Kaiserschmarrn
- Wood-oven sourdough pizza, gluten-free base available
- Vegetarian and vegan dishes in their own right, not as a side
- Menu in English, so you know what you're ordering

Rooms
Rooms above the restaurant
Single rooms, double rooms and apartments. For one night on the way through, or for a whole week.
Staying here means you don't have to drive anywhere in the evening. Hot food until 9 pm, then it's a short walk to your room. Free parking with an EV charger in front of the house, and a locked room for bikes and skis.

„A Haus für wirklich harte Schepfer, faule Hund, Gschäftlmacher, Schwadronierer und Genießer.“From our menu, in local dialect. Roughly: a house for hard workers, lazy dogs, dealmakers, big talkers and people who enjoy their food.
