A later arrival is almost always possible. Just give us a quick call.
Open on our closing days too
The restaurant is closed on Thursdays and Fridays, the hotel is not. You can arrive as normal on those days and you'll get breakfast. There's just no hot food.
For dinner on those evenings we'll happily recommend somewhere in town.

About staying here
Is breakfast included?
That depends on the rate you book. There are options with and without breakfast, and your confirmation will say which one applies. If in doubt, give us a call.
Can I arrive on a Thursday or Friday?
Yes. The restaurant is closed on those days but the hotel is open. Arrival, the room and breakfast all work as normal, there's just no hot food.
Is there parking and an EV charger?
Yes, free parking right by the house, and a charging point for electric cars. For larger vehicles or trailers, please let us know in advance.
Are dogs allowed?
Usually yes, by prior arrangement. Please mention it when booking so we can allocate a suitable room.
Where can I put my bike?
In the locked bike room, dry and with charging for e-bikes. We keep basic tools for repairs.
Is it cheaper to book direct?
Yes. Booking portals charge commission, which ends up in the price. Book with us directly and you get the better rate.
How far is the centre of Murau?
A few minutes. The castle, the old town, the brewery and the station are all close by.
